ALMOST TRUEWhen Self-Love Is Selfish

Putting ourselves first is one of the most natural things we do.
Maybe our problem isn’t that we don’t love ourselves enough.
Maybe it’s that we love ourselves too much.

²⁹The most important one, answered JESUS is this: Hear O Isreal: The LORD our GOD, the LORD is One ³⁰“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." ³¹The second is this: "Love your neighbor as yourself." There is no commandment greater than these.”Mark 12:29-31 Jesus didn’t tell you to love yourself … (Why?)

Loving yourself is not a command; it’s an assumption.
Over a dozen different translations and all use this simple message: “Love your neighbor as yourself”’
